As studio manager I was responsible for operations but spent significant time with the Hopp Mobility team on fundraising, go to market strategies and growth.
I founded Getlocal in 2016 - a SaaS company in traveltech focusing on improving sales for travel companies around the world with a powerful e-commerce solution that increases sales and improves marketing. We currently have customers in over 20 countries and a franchise in South Africa.
Before pivoting into providing the SaaS e-commerce solution we started as an Icelandic OTA and local travel advice platform.

I spent seven years working for Íslandsbanki/Glitnir Bank in a few roles including Executive Director of Global Internet Strategy Development Manager of Internet banking & Web, Webmaster, development team lead and web designer.
I co-founded SVEF, the Icelandic Web Industry Association, in 2005 and was chairman from 2009 to 2013. SVEF hosts the Icelandic Web Awards and organizes the IceWeb Conference which is one of the oldest web design conferences in the world.
